Halloween Handouts

Thursday October 2, 2003
Looking for something different to hand out to the ghosts and goblins that gather on your doorstep this Halloween? A trip to an Asian candy store can be a great source of inspiration! Just remember to treat yourself and your family as well.

Along with the article and photos of Asian candy, I’ve included a link to a feature by About’s Guide to Asia on the Hungry Ghost Festival. Celebrated during the Halloween season, the Chinese believe this is the one time of year when ghosts are allowed to leave purgatory. Not a safe time to be roaming the streets alone!
