Warming Winter Soups
Tuesday February 3, 2004
Now that the majority of groundhogs are predicting six more weeks of winter, I’ve decided to focus on cold weather foods for February. Nothing beats a nourishing bowl of hot soup to take your mind off the wintery weather outdoors. Here are a few of my favorite Asian soup recipes:
Chicken and Spinach Soup – makes a nourishing lunchtime soup
Hot and Sour Soup – a Spicy Szechuan Recipe
Thai Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup – Tom Yum Kung – arguably Thailand’s most famous dish
Winter Melon Soup – My personal favorite – I love sweet Winter Melon!
Wonton Soup
