Lost in Translation – Hot Pot

“What kind of restaurant makes you cook your own food?” This is the question Bill Murray’s character asks in a scene from the Oscar nominated movie, Lost in Translation. Clearly, Murray’s character doesn’t get the point of hot pot, Asia’s take on traditional fondue. The beauty of hot pot is that guests can cook the food in the simmering broth according to their own preference.
