Preparing Chinese turnovers is a rather complicated affair that involves combining two different doughs to make a flaky crust. In this easier recipe for Curry Turnovers, the curried beef filling is wrapped in phyllo triangles. Although this was my first experience working with phyllo dough, I had no problems at all, thanks to this excellent set of photo instructions on how to fold phyllo triangles by Nancy Gaifyllia.
