    (nineteenth lunar day of the second Chinese lunar month)

    Ching Ming (Tomb-Sweeping Festival)
    (Originally held on the third day of the third Chinese lunar month. It is now held on April 5th, except for leap years when it is held on April 4th.)

  • May 19, 2002
    Buddha's Birthday
    (As this falls on a Sunday, in Hong Kong the general holiday honoring Buddha's birthday falls on Monday, May 20th). 

  • June 14 or 15 (China), 2002 
    - Dragon Boat Festival
    (The Dragon boat festival falls on the fifth lunar day of the fifth Chinese lunar month)
