One of the very best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to was in *surprise* LONDON,
England! Can you believe it? The country noted for their horrible cuisine and especially
horrible Chinese food. But this place was fantastic and we found it by accident. My
husband and I were going to see a play in the west end and we saw this restaurant called
POONS. We got there early. They had just opened and were already filling up. So, we
thought it must be good if it was that crowded so early on. Well, the meal was fantastic!
Everything was fresh and very flavorful. It was so long ago that I cannot remember what we
ordered except I remember it standing out as the best Chinese food I have ever had in my
life - and I grew up in California where the competition is tough.
So, if you ever travel to London, here is where to go for a great
Chinese dinner before you take in a play.
