Actually, extracting milk from a coconut is a bit more work, but the results are worth it! Here are easy step-by-step instructions, with pictures, showing how to make your own coconut milk from the meat of a coconut.

  • What you'll need:
  • a medium bowl
  • corkscrew to pierce the eyes
  • sharp implement for cracking the coconut
  • blender
  • cheesecloth
Step 1. Pierce the three black eyes at the top of the coconut with a sharp instrument.
