User Rating 3 Star Rating (1 Review)

Want to convert this from a dipping sauce into a sweet and sour sauce for a main dish? Stir-fry the meat, poultry or seafood and set aside. Stir-fry the green peppers with some chopped onion, bamboo shoots or other vegetables. Add the remaining 6 ingredients in the sauce recipe, bring to a boil and add the stir-fried meat back into the wok or frying pan. Heat through and serve hot.
Yields about 1 1/4 cups.

My first reaction was to wonder where the fresh ginger went to. Then I thought, oh sweet ketchup. I don't have any of that. I do have salsa and it has spices and minced onion in it so that seems like it would be a good sub. And pineapple. Got to have pineapple.
